Joining us in welcoming our latest Riser!

Hollie Lovell has joined Rise at Seven as our Senior Operations Lead, and if you work in UK marketing, you'll want to know why this matters.

Operations is one of those things that, when it's done well, nobody notices. Everything works. Campaigns go out on time. Resourcing makes sense. The team feels supported. But when it's done badly? Everyone feels it.

Hollie is one of the rare people who know how to build the engine that makes a creative agency actually run. She's spent over 14 years doing exactly that, at Cascade Productions and most recently at SocialChain in Manchester, where she rose to Resource Director. She knows how to hold a fast-growing, always-on business together without slowing it down. And that's exactly what we need at Rise at Seven right now.

We are growing. Faster than ever. And with that growth comes a responsibility, to our teams and to our clients, to get better at how we operate, not just what we produce. Hollie is central to that. She's not here to manage the status quo. She's here to build something.

We sat down with Hollie to hear what drew her to Rise at Seven, and what she's planning to build:

Why did you join Rise at Seven?

"I joined Rise at Seven because I was genuinely excited by the work, the reputation, and the momentum the agency has built. It felt like the right moment to come in; Rise is growing at an incredible pace and making a major shift in how we elevate delivery and service internally. Stepping into a role that directly supports that evolution was a huge part of the appeal. It’s a pivotal moment in Rise’s history, and I wanted to be part of shaping what comes next."

How have your first few months been?

"The first three months have been amazing. I’ve thrown myself into learning everything about how Rise works, our processes, our services, our ways of operating. There’s no better way to understand a business than diving straight in. Getting to know the team has been a real highlight; there are some genuinely talented people here doing brilliant work. Being able to see that up close has only made me more excited about how we can keep strengthening our operational approach and ultimately deliver even better work for clients."

What excites you most about Rise’s future?

"Rise has an incredibly exciting future. The growth we’re experiencing, the new hires coming in, the development of the UK & US teams, there’s so much momentum. The next 12 months and beyond will be full of pivotal shifts in how we operate, what we focus on, and how we continue raising the bar in delivery. All of it ladders up to producing outstanding work for clients and building on the already strong reputation Rise has in the industry. I’m excited to help drive that forward."

Hollie joined us on 17th February and has already been quietly making her mark. The team has felt it. And we have no doubt the wider industry will too.

Carrie Rose, CEO and Founder of Rise at Seven, adds:

"Right now, Rise at Seven UK is optimising for delivery. I want to be delivering bigger and better work than ever before. To do that, we need seamless operations that allow people to do their work and put clients first. Hollie has experience of working in a fast-paced media agency at SocialChain, as their Resource Director. She brings the kind of operational excellence that lets creativity thrive, and that's not something you find easily. I'm incredibly proud to have her as part of the central team to the group."

Join us in welcoming Hollie!
