Some promotions are overdue. Some are earned slowly. And then there are the ones you look at and think - obviously.

Ryan McNamara is now Global Operations Director of Rise at Seven.

Ryan leads all client services, delivery, and people across the group. And if you know Ryan, you know why this was never really a question of if - only when.

Why Ryan

There are people who work for a business. And there are people who are the business. Ryan is the latter.

His performance has been exceptional. His loyalty has been extraordinary. But more than that - the business loves him, and he loves it back. That's rarer than most founders will admit. When you find someone who cares about your clients, your team, and your culture the way you do, you don't just promote them. You build around them.

That's what this is.

What This Means for the Group

The UK is in an optimisation phase - sharpening delivery, protecting quality, doing the best work we've ever done.

The US is in a growth phase - and we're already 107% ahead of revenue targets, on track for profit, and expanding fast.

Ryan has joined the New York team this week as we scale the office to 25 people. New space. New ways of working. And new AI processes that are genuinely changing how our teams operate - not replacing the things we love, but freeing us up to do more of them. More strategic thinking. More creativity. More of the multi-channel promotion that makes our work land.

What Comes Next

Rise at Seven started with a belief that search and earned media deserved to be taken more seriously. Seven years in, that belief is a business - one that spans two continents and keeps proving the model right.

Ryan leading global ops is the next chapter of that.

Congratulations to someone who has earned every bit of this. The business is better because of you, Ryan.

Now let's go.
