Advertising for a hot tub tester
brought in hundreds of links
The challenge
SpaSeekers wanted to boost search terms surrounding spas with pools and hot tubs ahead of the peak in demand in June (summer). They needed links as well as on-site content and ranked page 3 for these terms. They didn't even have a landing page for this and came to Rise at Seven for a solution.
The idea
We created 3 content pieces including a landing page to improve onsite copy including these terms. We then ran a creative digital PR campaign which used social people to promote a new job ad to become SpaSeekers official hot tub tester - the dream summer job. We produced a video and social media strategy to promote the role, encouraging people to apply via Facebook and Instagram. No CV required. And pushed the job ad to press to generate hype.
The results
The campaign got links everywhere, with coverage on Heart radio, Woman&Home, and Marie Claire driving 169 links to the site. In total, 8,400 people visited the site as a result of the campaign organically, with 3,896 applying for the job of a lifetime. Our social reach grew and grew, as people with huge followings shared the story and threw their name in the ring. Overall, 693k people saw our campaign on social media, getting dream results for our dream summer job.
Oh, and SpaSeekers now rank first and second for key hot tub terms.
