What we did:

We worked with PrettyLittleThing for both US and UK growth - executing digital PR campaigns and reactive PR to scale links to their website.

We led with a category driven approach, building builds and traffic into key commercial categories for ecommerce, driving organic positions on Google.

Using our own proprietary tools, we tracked fashion trends live across the media, TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest and put PLT at the centre of these trends with press stories in order to land links.

For example PrettLittleThing stocked a wide range of corsets, but they had little visibility on Google. Thanks to Bridgerton’s Regencycore and the Y2K resurgence, we spotted an ideal opportunity to use the trend to build links directly into the corsets category page and to specific products.

The results:

In a 12 month period, we landed 400+ links back to PrettyLittleThings site, across multiple categories, homepage and blog content including 23 directly into corsets, and over 50 links into airport outfits.

We landed on the likes of Bustle, ET Online, OK!, Elite Daily & PopSugar - directing to the corset category and corset products.

With over 77% being followed links to the site, we moved from position 10 to 3 for the ‘corsets’ keyword and had a total rank change of 803 positions for related keywords - driving a 35% increase in organic traffic and 47% increase in organic revenue (YoY). We also landed position 1 for airport outfits.
