I was scrolling through TikTok the other day and came across a new content format which could change the future of ecomm for so many industries.

Obviously, TikTok shop has always historically been product led (think gym leggings and selfie lights) with brands in the fashion, beauty and tech industries making use of this to scale offsite ecomm.

However, there’s never been the ability to sell tickets, holidays or services. BUT, it seems to be coming…

You can now sell tickets and event promotions directly through TikTok. This could be a HUGE revenue opportunity for so many brands and marketers! 📣

Here’s how it’s possible:

  • Step 1: Sign up to WeTicket (They do take a commission of 0.18p per ticket sale). This is the platform used to create landing pages for selling tickets. 
  • Step 2: Using creators, create standout ad content in the feed. Use micro creators to start. Try pushing content on your brand channel and on their own pages. Test what converts highest.The best ads are the ones that don't look like ads, so make it's as natural as possible!
