JD Sports came to us looking to grow organic visibility for their brand across Spain, Italy and France. With a high dependence on brand traffic, and a low quality backlink profile - JDsports needed an organic non brand strategy to becoming the leading retailer across their categories. An ecommerce SEO strategy using reactive SEO and Digital PR to driving record growth
What we did
Over the last year, we providing SEO consultancy and briefs to the european team alongside digital PR to driving growth. We used reactive eccomm SEO and PR to put JDsports at the centre of fashion, sporting, music and lifestyle moments in the media to drive organic growth, traffic and sales. From most fashionable footballers to reacting to European football moments on TikTok, we was able to drive stories, talkability and links into key categories from the media.

The results
In less than 12 months, we are saw:
- 224 links earned from EU-based domains with an average DA of 74, increasing JD Sports’ link equity across local markets.
- +63% increase in organic clicks to the France domain, attributed to stronger brand and non-brand keyword visibility.
- +289% growth in top-3 rankings in Spain, reflecting the compounding effect of authority gains and local keyword alignment.
- Improved crawl depth and topical relevance across Spain and Italy domains, leading to JD Sports’ highest visibility scores to date in those regions.
