Building the fastest growing Esim brand in UK and Spain
The challenge
We were appointed mid 2024, to help make a leading e-sim brand a category leader in both the UK and Spain by both generating brand demand and drive discovery for them for non brand terms. This brand was falling behind the category leader from a brand awareness point of view and did not have the budgets to compete. So we used search and discovery and a digital PR strategy as their growth lever organically. If we can get them to be the number 1 most discovered brand online for their keywords, this will inevitably drive brand awareness and demand.
Using Digital PR to drive brand and non brand growth online
What we did
We worked the fast growth start up to create content, which was then distributed offsite to drive brand and category signals and trust multi channel. Those offsite media placements were featured in media publications which LLMs ground from, with links back to the core Esim category. We did this via reactive PR and data studies for at least 12 months in UK and Spain
Pos 1 on Google and the fastest growing Esim brand in UK and Spain
The results
Organic revenue in the UK hit 63% growth YoY and 68% in Spain. Their visibility rocketed, getting them to pos 1 on Google and also on LLMs for the first time in history with 70% share of voice. We built 668 links back to the core Esim category and in effect, branded search shot up 54% YoY due to the increase in real estate
