We use creative strategies to get to your audience wherever they search. We have a Search Everywhere proposition, looking at not only Google but Amazon, Pinterest, TikTok, eBay, Instagram, YouTube and more in understanding the consumer search and buying process and putting strategies together to drive and facilitate on these channels. You must have an obsessive understanding of the consumer, and the commercial ability to capture useful data and insights to communicate the value and ROI of search to clients. .

We are looking for a hands on all rounder SEO to lead the SEO team commercially, operationally and mentor and develop our existing SEO’s. 


  • You have at least 5-6 years of experience in an Lead or Head of SEO-specific role, preferably agency side.
  • You have experience with managing at least 3/5 direct reports in a team.
  • You have advanced knowledge of Google (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Drives etc.), Excel and Microsoft Word. 
  • You are able to think commercially and use data to drive decisions to forecast and prove ROI for our clients.
  • You have strong business writing skills and ability to produce high-quality reports and play a leadership role across your dedicated accounts for client QBR and monthly strategy meetings
  • You have experience in operational team management, team workflow and use of an agency workflow management system, such as Mavenlink, Asana, etc. 
  • You have commercial experience in project scoping, costing and profitability analysis. 
  • You are able to demonstrate a track record of providing ROI through an SEO strategy you developed.
  • You have demonstrable leadership capabilities and an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have experience in constructing and pitching for SEO and content marketing new business opportunities.


  • Developing and informing SEO strategies on dedicated accounts, and developing and owning workflows. 
  • Responsible for the management of the SEO team at an operational level
  • Ownership over client SEO performance and proving ROI.
  • Able to identify digital audiences vs defined audiences and incorporate insights into wider SEO and search strategies.
  • Understanding Rise at Seven’s unique SEO proposition, and being able to sell this to existing and prospective clients.
  • Good understanding of Holistic Search strategies, and how PPC and SEO should work together, and be able to confidently report and discuss this with clients 
  • Producing relevant keyword research aligned with business objectives and incorporating audience insights, and any other information provided by the client.
  • Working with the content team to complete opportunity/ content gap analysis in order to identify strategic opportunities for clients.
  • Conducting content audits in collaboration with the content teams.
  • Confidently producing technical SEO audits on client websites, with the development of a technical roadmap and managing the ongoing consultancy of this 
  • To lead the strategy, recommendations and implementations of site migrations, owning the SEO workflow and prioritising items based on potential impact vs business needs.
  • Support with on-page optimisations and/ or creation and linking this with technical and off-page (Digital PR, content marketing etc.) efforts.
  • Informing Digital PR strategies by making recommendations on identified pages or campaign pages Digital PR should build links for organic growth - and monitor client backlink profiles.
  • Collaborate with web developers and marketing teams of clients.
  • To be well versed in the use of SEO tools in order to pull data for analysis such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog and much more.
  • Collaborate with the Data team and Client Service team to define a custom measurement framework, featuring the relevant KPIs in a reporting dashboard to measure performance.
  • Training and development of junior members of staff, by conducting one-to-ones, PDPs and coaching.
  • Supporting Client Services Leads SEO with communications (emails, calls, meetings, etc.), and taking ownership
  • Preparing and delivering weekly status updates and monthly client reports (frequency is client-dependent).
  • Confidently producing Quarterly Business Review decks and confidently presenting them to clients, and clearly outlining activity, how this has influenced performance and next steps.
  • Collaborate with our Client Services and Sales teams to ensure strategic direction is executed effectively and growing accounts based on revenue targets.
  • Participate in pitch proposals and strategies for new business development.
  • Keep Risers and clients up-to-date with the latest industry trends and changes along with best practices.
  • Ensuring both team and project deadlines are always met.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in the industry to market Rise at Seven's strategic offering.
